Sales Hiring

Hire a salesperson who can actually sell.

Anyone can post a job. The hard part is telling a closer from a good interviewer.

Who it's for

Founders hiring an account executive, a sales manager, or a first sales leader. No diagnostic required.

How the search works

Six to eight weeks from kickoff to shortlist, depending on the role.

  1. Role scorecard and comp benchmarkWhat the role needs to deliver, the 4–6 skills that matter, and what the market pays.
  2. Job posting and targeted outreachA posting written to attract sellers, plus direct outreach to people in similar roles.
  3. Phone screens against the scorecardEvery candidate measured against the same criteria.
  4. Finalist assessmentA live mock discovery call, a walk-through of their pipeline math, and a deal debrief.
  5. Reference checks I run myselfConversations with former managers, not form letters.
  6. A shortlist of 2–3 finalistsEach with a written scorecard on strengths, risks, and fit.
  7. Offer and close supportSo your top choice accepts.
